Art’s Place

Art’s Place is a throw back. It has been around for over 30 years and they have the fading wallpaper and burnished leather booths to prove it - all original. From the outside, the storefront is quite unassuming, so it was a surprise to walk in and find both an ice cream parlour and an old school diner.

This place is a family affair - family owned, run and frequented. The age of the clientele ranged from 2 to 82 and most were ordering “their usual”. Our server was positively cheerful and really made the whole experience fun. My guy was in heaven with his Maple Walnut Milkshake - 16 milkshake flavours available.

There’s something about this place that takes you back to a time when life seemed a little more carefree.
